“Until Death Do Us Apart” Part 6.0

After a grueling 6 month wait I finally got my Custom Jackson Matrix Guitar!

Bob @ Ed Roman's custom shop was the guy that rebuilt the guitar after the custom art work was completed. Two holes drilled a custom Pro Tones bridge and this guitar feels amazing! (I never knew how much a good bridge meant to a guitar until I started doing my own experimenting. At long last I can say that the guys @ Pro Tones totally rule, this guitar feels and plays amazing!)

As Bob was finishing up the guitar he had called me to find out what gauge strings I play, the tuning of the guitar, etc, while we were talking Bob made a point to say that he's being doing guitars for

over 20 years and to this day he has never seen a more "cooler" looking guitar, the holograms just made it look sick!    Of coarse I was quick to ask him for a photo of the guitar but he thought it would be better to wait and be surprised once I received it. A few more phone calls back and fourth for setup reasons and Bob broke!

I just had to see this thing! So he text'd me a photo from his phone and that was it!  The guitar looked so amazing that even in a small photo I just couldn't wait to get it  Got the guitar and it was everything that I thought it would be! From the black toggle switch and knobs, to the bridge and of coarse the Matrix Hologram art work!

As you look at the guitar (which you will not be able to see in photos) it appears as though you are looking inside the guitar?!?!

Totally amazing.

After jamming on it and staring at it for hours I began to truly realized what I had in front of me, and as good as Seymour Ducan SH4 pick ups are... this guitar was just crying out for the best pick ups money can buy!

So I quickly sent an email over to Maricela @ Seymour Ducan Custom Shop and ordered up the baddest pick ups on the planet, El Diablo. I have these pick ups on some of my guitars already, including my new Murder Weapon that I just bought a few weeks back.

Speaking of which there is a  funny debate going on right now with me and all my friends. Which guitar is cooler? The new Matrix Jackson? Or the hand beaten and bloodied Murder Weapon?  I say it depends on your mood. I'll call it a tie

If you come to a Dirty show this year I'll let you decide.

Special Thanks to Ed Roman, Mike Learn @ http://learnguitars.com/ for doing the amazing artwork, and Bob B for the setup .
